Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The goal of this project is to develop a virtual assistant technology that leverages natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) to provide users with personalized answers that maximize their understanding. People naturally adapt how they talk to others in order to make sure listeners understand what is being taught or communicated. Today's virtual assistants don't make such adaptations. MyEdMaster LLC aims to create an intelligent system capable of interpreting user queries, learning from interactions, and delivering responses that are not only accurate but are customized to the user. The project will involve designing algorithms that can analyze and process natural language inputs, as well as implementing machine learning models that adapt and improve over time based on user feedback. The virtual assistant should be able to handle a variety of questions, provide clear and concise answers, and continuously refine its responses to better meet user needs. The initial focus will be on educational applications.

Key tasks include:

- Researching existing NLP and ML technologies.

- Designing and implementing NLP algorithms.

- Training ML models using relevant datasets.

- Testing and refining the virtual assistant's performance.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The project will result in a functional prototype of a virtual assistant that can understand and respond to user queries effectively. Deliverables include:

- A detailed report on the research and design of the NLP and ML components.

- A working prototype of the virtual assistant.

- Documentation outlining the system architecture, algorithms used, and training process.

- A user manual explaining how to interact with the virtual assistant and how it improves over time.
