To enhance production efficiency by analyzing the entire production process, from raw material acquisition to product delivery. By identifying and eliminating waste areas such as overproduction, excess inventory, or unnecessary transportation, the project aims to streamline operations and reduce overall costs through lean manufacturing principles.

1. Conduct Process Mapping: Analyze the current production process by creating detailed maps of each stage, from raw material acquisition to product delivery.
2. Identify Waste Areas: Use value stream mapping techniques to pinpoint areas of waste, such as overproduction, excess inventory, unnecessary transportation, waiting times, and defects.
3. Collect and Analyze Data: Gather quantitative and qualitative data on production efficiency, including cycle times, bottlenecks, and resource utilization.
4. Propose Lean Solutions: Develop recommendations for eliminating waste and improving efficiency, leveraging lean manufacturing principles like 5S, Kaizen, and Just-In-Time production.
5. Develop a Comprehensive Report: Summarize findings, proposed solutions, and the results of pilot implementations in a detailed report tailored to the business's specific needs.

Staff will be available to provide strategic direction for the project and answer any questions students may have. We will schedule daily/weekly check-ins depending on what is needed.
