Background - This request covers a number of tasks and subtasks substantially around business planning and market development.. Accepting party can choose to execute this entire request or can choose to execute only on a subset of the tasks.
In all cases Lokx expects to be very actively involved in helping and mentoring the students to achieve the desired outcome. This will include, but no limited to, providing guidance, examples of prior work product both Lokx and competitors. Zoom or video conferencing calls as need be for “check-ins” and progress updates.
Lokx will accept students from anywhere to work on this project.
Tasks (in no particular order)
- Rework current Lokx powerpoint presentation including developing powerpoint master template using existing Lokx logos
- Develop a 1 or 2 page “marketing slick” type document that highlights the capabilities of the company and its services. This will be used as a mailout or hand out type document, aka a “leave behind” piece
- Assess the current Lokx website and advise on recommended changes, better SEO, structural changes, etc. Current site is developed in WordPress.
- Develop a plan to engage deeply in the following market segments. Public Sector, cities, towns, municipalities, counties, K-12 education, Higher Ed. Commercial, small and medium businesses, small and medium law firms, small and medium accounting firms, top 250-500 MSP/MSSP IT firms (list of top MSP/MSSPs can be provided)
- Survey any or all of the target segments to determine possible acceptance of Lokx offerings including: A. Is the client/target currently “in-market” and actively searching or investigating any of Lokx type offerings. B. During the survey, discover and profile the prospects “technology stack”. Enquire about what cyber security products and services they currently use. C. Lokx will help develop survey questions and they will be slightly tailored to the specific subsegment.
Timeline - while we would like to get this project completed ASAP, Lokx is very flexible on overall timing.
As mentor, the Lokx team can provide several hours (10-12 hours) of close mentoring and supervision throughout the project from start to finish.
