Project scope –
We would like a new website for our organization. We aren’t sure which platform we would like for it to be built on, but we have an idea of what we would like it to do. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us. We are looking for a student who knows all about website development because we are looking forward to making a website for our salon. We want to gain some online attention for our salon so our customers always find us available anytime. We would like to show our services, our work, our team and all the minute things about our salon on the website. And we are also looking forward to providing an online Appointment booking option for our customers so they can book an appointment anytime at their convenience, which will save them valuable time.
We want our website to be mobile compatible, accessible to all users, showing well-formatted content, having fast times, should be browser consistent, shows effective navigation, and having good error handling.
So the student must have knowledge about –
· HTML/CSS skills.
· Analytical skills.
· Responsive design skills.
· JavaScript skills.
· Interpersonal skills.
· Testing and debugging skills.
· Back-end basics.
· Search engine optimization.
Students should be prepared to:- Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable.
- Create a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline.
- Build a fully-functioning website.
- Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.
