Kids At Risk Action is writing our next book. It is a comprehensive review of COVID impacting child abuse issues. We are seeking advanced students to help us sort through stories and data that will become a book targeted to both a general readership and professionals that need to know.

Deliverables

*Work with the author and KARA's book agent to create a compelling work that can be published in 2023. Zoom weekly meetings.

*Help combine and organize multiple subtopics so that the general reader finds the information compelling;

Childhood abuse/neglect/trauma, ACES, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Child self-harm, psychotropic medicating of children, foster / adoption, child protective services, juvenile justice, child/human rights, abused children impacting institutions (law enforcement, healthcare, education, social work, taxes) & related economics and politics.

*Help sort through new information to add to the book

Mentorship

Weekly zoom meetings with the writer and agent.
