Details

The University of King's College Registrar's Office is looking for a strategic, organized, socially perceptive campus photographer who can capture the exciting goings on throughout campus to help showcase the student experience. A current student, the successful campus photographer will take photos of people, campus and events during the academic year which may be used for future marketing materials and recruitment pieces – these can include university brochures, social media channels and the ukings.ca website.

Deliverables


  • Must be able to demonstrate a passion for photography (videography will be seen as an asset) and ability to use photo editing software to produce high-quality, print-ready images in a timely manner.
  • Must be willing to attend events on campus (which may take place on evenings and/or weekends. A flexible schedule is an asset).
  • Must be a clear communicator who is able to approach people to seek consent and ask permissions to take photos (by way of our Photo & Video Release form).
  • Apply and maintain an organization system for photo files.
Mentorship

The campus photographer will be supported by those in the King's Registrar's Office, specifically the Manager, Digital Marketing and Student Communications and the Marketing Coordinator, Recruitment, who will set schedules and coordinate event attendance. Basic training on Adobe Lightroom can be provided if needed.
