- What is the main goal for this project?

We want to set our platform and brand apart from the competition by creating an UX and user interface experience for our new platform and that is both compelling and ground breaking in its category. Once we achieve this design goal however, we would like to work with 1-2 interns to ensure our quality assurance steps both at point of launch and well into the future ensure we continue to have the best and most user-friendly product in market.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

We think this project will include the following tasks
- QA new UI features: manually access our application and try to break it. Verify both happy path and negative cases behave as expected
- Complete A/B Testing of web-based software
- QA API endpoints
- Be part of a dynamic team that builds an internal tools
- Collaborate with other engineers (back-end, UI/UX) to test and validate their features as part of the development lifecycle
- Help establish best practices for testing, bug reporting, and supporting deployments of new features
- Improve application quality by testing both pre- and post-deployment to verify features are configured and functioning properly
- Support development team by replicating bugs reported and documenting the issue and expected outcome
- Be accountable for the quality of new features, and assist with tracking, communicating, and following-up with bug reports from end users
