Impetus Digital offers a range of virtual collaboration tools for life science companies via our best-in-class platform, the Impetus InSite Platform®. These tools can be used for multiple purposes, as listed on our website.

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for up to 3 IT/data analytics students.

The primary focus for the students will be to:

Project 1 (one student):

• Work with our Director of Technology to model data sets for a number of IT systems
• Migrating data from slow and convoluted Google Sheets to AppSheet
• Automate data collection processes
• Improve downstream workflows and reporting capabilities

Project 2 (one student):

• Work with our Director of Technology to migrate our advisor engagement database from a single spreadsheet to scalable data models and data management via AppSheet and data analysis via Google Data Studio and Google Cloud Platform’s Machine Learning module
• Work with our Lead Engineer to integrate portal activity tracker APIs that would allow us to send information directly from activity trackers to G Suite for reporting
• After the transfer is complete, provide recommendations on other types of engagement data we should capture, and what our current data can tell us (e.g. descriptive statistics)

Project 3 (one student):

• Help us research existing technologies (e.g. blockchain) for ID verification of the participants completing our asynchronous touchpoints. The aim of this project is to make sure that participants do not ask junior colleagues or students to complete the online activities on their behalf
• Make recommendations on whether to use an existing API or create our own system for ID verification
• Determine and assist in executing next steps for this project, including API development and recommendations on how to market it effectively
