The Business Systems Analyst Co-op Student will work with the Career and Experiential Learning Department to assist in the automation and integration of our CSM and course delivery platform. Additionally, this position will provide support to new department projects that align with streamlining systems. The co-op student will work closely with the CEL Representative assigned to oversee each project.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop a project management system to oversee new CSM System Automation and ensure the project sticks to the projected completion date of September 3, 2021
2. As needed, connect with Symplicity Customer Support to gather information and complete training required to implement system changes which include:
o Online Co-op Application Improvements
o Job Posting System Video
o Employer Evaluation
o Student Evaluation
o Employer Communication
o Work term notification forms
o Work term acceptance forms
o Report Development
o Kiosk mode for student registration
3. Data Analysis to develop more efficient reporting capabilities department wide
4. Development of new instructions for students to assist with new procedures
5. Collaboration with CEL Marketing co-op students to ensure CEL website aligns with new procedure changes
6. Collaboration with CEL HR Student to ensure new procedures are implemented in training manual
7. Development of CEL staff training session to illustrate and outline new procedures
8. In Collaboration with EL Co-ordinator, integrate new EL programming with Symplicity
9. In Collaboration HR co-op student, assist with project management for Level up students currently completing projects on campus with the use of smartsheets
Phase 4: Report Development
This phase will involve multiple meetings with CEL employees who require the development of reports, connecting with CSM training system, and researching data implementation.
