This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Analyzing existing data sets and architectures.
- Developing ETL data pipelines and ML data augmentation/processing architectures.
- Optimizing Data pipeline performance and assessing areas for improvement.
- Researching other variables that can improve the size, throughput, cost-efficiency, and scalability of the dataset.
- Accounting for additional variables in the architecture.
- Testing the developed architecture and making improvements based on additional data.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Understanding of existing data sets and architectures.
- Understanding of variables that affect the size, throughput, cost-efficiency, and scalability of the dataset.
- Identification of areas for future improvement of the architecture.
Bonus steps would include:
- Testing the developed architecture with users and accounting for additional parameters
Final deliverables should include
- All source code.
- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.
