Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

At GeoSource, we contribute to the fight against climate change by providing renewable and sustainable heating and cooling to buildings through ground-source geothermal systems. Therefore, in order to continue reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector we need to continue growing our client base. This ultimately results in the replacement of conventional fossil fuel-driven and low efficiency electric heating and cooling systems with renewable, high efficiency geothermal systems.

To do this, we're looking for one virtual intern who can carry out market research on Ontario's building sector, and compile data that our sales team can use as part of their outreach strategy. This will provide our sales team with critical information required to start initiating conversations with decision makers and educating them about our geothermal systems.

Tasks for this project may include (but are not limited to):

  • Mining Ontario building project data from websites such as GTA Homes, Urban Toronto, municipal databases and construction tender sites;
  • Identifying key decision makers and their contact information extracted from publicly available databases; and
  • Recording relevant data into spreadsheets provided by GeoSource.
