Details

Islamic Books and Souvenirs aims to enhance its library services by developing a functional and user-friendly website. The current system lacks an online presence, limiting users' ability to browse the catalog, place orders, and access resources efficiently. The goal of this project is to create a comprehensive digital platform that will allow users to explore the library's offerings from the comfort of their homes. This project is done by having to create a website by hosting and creating a domain, editing the website (making it look professional where users can browse and make orders on books), adding a necessary payment page of their order, all of which is to be created through either WordPress or Shopify. This project will enable learners to apply their web development skills including content management, UI design, and E-Commerce integration. The project focuses on creating a seamless user experience, ensuring that the website is intuitive and accessible to a diverse audience. By completing this project, learners will gain practical experience in developing an e-commerce and resource access platform, preparing them for real-world challenges in the tech industry.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a fully functional website for Islamic Books and Souvenirs' library. Key features will include an online catalog for browsing, a secure ordering system, and a section for accessing library resources. The website should be responsive, ensuring compatibility with various devices. Additionally, documentation outlining the website's architecture, user guides, and maintenance procedures will be provided.
