Details

Detailed Inspections requires a custom data collection form to streamline the process of conducting First Nation inspections. The primary goal is to create a form that efficiently transfers collected data into a spreadsheet, which will serve as a working document for clients to track renovations. Additionally, the form should generate individual house reports in a Word document format. This project aims to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of data collection and report generation, allowing for modifications and the addition of photos and extra information post-onsite visits. The existing commercial/home inspection software does not meet the specific needs of Detailed Inspections, necessitating a tailored solution. The project will focus on creating a user-friendly, adaptable form that supports the inspection of approximately 140 houses scheduled for later this year.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a fully functional data collection form that integrates seamlessly with spreadsheet and Word document formats. The form must allow for post-visit modifications, including the addition of photos and supplementary information. A user guide detailing the form's features and usage will also be provided to ensure ease of use. The deliverables aim to improve the efficiency and accuracy of inspection data management for Detailed Inspections.
