What is the main goal for this project?

We would like to have an in-house tool to easily keep track of all the data we have collected about each property and perform quick calculation analysis on them.

Currently, we have a staff performing the following:

  • Look at each property online on realtor.ca
  • Enter each property interested into a spreadsheet.
  • Enter all the additional information about the property in the spreadsheet.
  • If the additional information includes files, put them in a drive somewhere.
  • Manually do the property analysis calculation on the spreadsheet.

This process is very labour intensive and tedious. It would be fabulous if we have a tool that acts as a Property CRM for us to easily keep track of the properties we reviewed, researched and allow us to enter all the additional information associated with the property.

The Property CRM project will broken into three separate Riipen projects:

Front end development

  • This is the front end to visual the Property CRM
  • It should contain the following components
    • Map view
    • Property details view
    • Add details view
  • All the backend can be stub out.

Backend Development

  • This is the backend to for the front end to access
  • It should content the following components
    • Database
    • API Access to Database to store the property data
    • API access for uploading files
