What is the main goal for this project?

We’re looking for a student to help us manage, plan and lead events from ideation through to completion within our organization Ogo Tawa and our programs we are engaged in

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following:

  • Meet with Partners to gather and clarify requirements of each event
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with partners and the team
  • Execute the plan, knocking down project tasks in collaboration with clients and the internal team
  • Manage events/offerings with clear timelines and accountabilities,
  • Provide speaker and moderator support for meeting on boarding when appropriate;
  • Provide “front-facing” camera presence in introducing topics and speakers, moderating/fielding questions,
  • Oversee the online event schedule for the organization and closely work with other Departments to ensure coordination and coverage;
  • Work closely with the Communications and Marketing team to ensure events/content is promoted through the different channels;
  • Provide production support before, during and after an event or module
  • Support the development of materials and training slides to support meeting hosts, speakers, and support staff
