The ‘electrical distributor’ statistics are considered to represent the ‘basket’ of electrical products and those stats are not separated by product type. The ‘electrical distributor’ stats are representative of the ‘point of sale’ to the building community.
The ‘product section’ statistics consist of 9 individual product categories which are segmented into various sub categories relevant to the product type. ‘Products’ are sold to ‘electrical distributors’ and other channels and some are sold direct to end users.
We will be providing the product section statistics that are related to the building construction segment along with the ‘electrical distributor’ statistics.
The goal of the project is to uncover any patterns between products to be used for forecasting purposes. We would also like insights on what other types of data we should be collecting to enhance our reporting and forecasting.
