Artificial intelligence (AI) is experiencing a tremendous surge in 2023, with new applications and developments on a weekly, if not daily basis. We are looking for a researcher to help us identify opportunities for the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Accounting Industry.

The researcher will:

1. Use public sites, social media, and online forums such as Reddit, to identify AI applications.
2. Compile a list of use cases in areas such as Bookkeeping, Payroll, Cashflow Management/Treasury, Customer Management, Marketing, HR & Recruiting.
3. Match applications to use cases.
4. Estimate benefits of use cases in labour, productivity, or $ savings.
5. Provide a list of the above in a slide format.
6. Content will be tested for plagiarism or duplication.

The research report will need to be finalized by March 30, 2023.

The project may include, but is not limited to:

1. Interview the Principal Consultant for direction on the article.
2. Preliminary topic research, review comparable articles provided for reference.
3. Cite sources, where to acquire applications and application pricing.
4. Calculate the benefits of application use cases. This will require an estimation or best guesses.
5. Layout content in slide format (PowerPoint or Google Slides). Follow guidelines for headings, sub-headings, body, images.

Students will work closely with the firm owner/principal consultant who will provide direction and is available for questions, via video, email, and chat. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

This is a fantastic project opportunity for students interested in Accounting, Marketing, and/or Artificial Intelligence. We will provide mentorship and guidance on future career paths available.
