Project scope
- What is the main goal for this project?
-
Positions available: one psychology intern.
NOTICE: We are no longer accepting applications for the spring semester. You are welcome to apply if you wish to work in the summer/fall.
Our goal at the end of this experience is: provide real-world experience of research projects and assist the PI in completing these projects.
The initial project (depending on where I am in this process when student starts) will be assisting with data collection, data cleaning and screening, data analysis, and writing, for my survey-based study that is currently in data collection phase “TOWARDS IMPROVING TEACHER WELLBEING IN THE US: WHAT WE CAN LEARN FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC” http://www.theceowithin.me/towards-improving-teacher-wellbeing-in-the-us-what-we-can-learn-from-the-covid-19-pandemic/
The student will need to submit documentation of appropriate human subjects certification and be approved by UOP’s IRB provider for this study. If no current certification is available through current coursework, the student can take UOP’s (free) course as an affiliate of my study prior to starting this project.
Other duties the student may complete could include: Performing similar tasks on other research projects and assisting in grant-writing for research projects.
We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using these communication tools:
- Asana
- Google Meet live calls
- Phone/Text
- Slack
Primary contact: Alice Vo Edwards, CEO, 702-518-9539, alice@theceowithin.me
Secondary contact: Emily Neely, Admin Assist, 702-518-9539, office@theceowithin.me
