Details

We are seeking 1-2 interns to help develop and roll-out a digital marketing and public relations strategy that will introduce Iambic to the world. Interns will work directly with Iambic’s head of Content and User Research to establish positive rapport with journalists and publications and secure media exposure for the company. They will identify the most beneficial media outlets and figures, strategize media placements, craft and schedule press releases and refine other related communications.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Draft press releases and pitch communications around multiple news-worthy stories and milestones.
  • Identify media outlets and figures most beneficial to our story.
  • Establishing positive working relationships with media contacts.
  • Secure media exposure for the company.

Mentorship

Interns will work directly with Iambic’s Director of Content and User Research, who has had 10 years of experience in journalism, writing for publications such as Vice, Consequence of Sound, Daily Voice, Lyynks Music, and was the Editorial Director at MAT Magazine.

Interns will also interface with Iambic's Creative Director, who brings experience from Conde Nast Media Group and New York Times' T Brand Studio, and Iambic's Founder/CEO, who brings experience from Bain & Company, and Delos Ventures.

Content strategy and creation will involve written content with input, collaboration, and guidance from these Iambic team members, primarily the Director of Content and User Research.
