software design product design user interface testing design tool user experience (ux) design user experience (ux) figma (design software) prototyping research artificial intelligenceHello from the Currant Care Team!
We are building the new frontier of remote care. Sensora is a holistic platform designed to flag immediate alerts and aberration of behavior in elderly/disabled patient populations. Using non-invasive sensory technology and AI - Sensora is designed to reduce staff overload, provide arm-length supervision, and bring forward a completely new way to increase healthcare delivery while requiring no additional human capital.
We would like to hire a junior UX designer that will be paid a total of $1,400.
This will involve:
- Conduct background research of existing web application for the product.
- Identify key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application.
- Learn and use various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as it is the latest and greatest tool currently available.
- Creation of a desktop prototype of a native application.
By the end of the project, students should be able to:
- Understand our existing product and its features.
- Use a design tool of their choice, with Figma being the recommended option.
- Create a desktop application prototype of our product by designing all the necessary screens in the design tool.
- Present the final design screens to us, explaining their design choices, any issues encountered, and next steps they recommend.
As a bonus, students may also:
- Conduct UX/UI testing with real potential users, possibly using paper prototypes or other software tools.
The final deliverables for the project should include:
- The design screens and all assets in a shareable format.
- A presentation detailing the final designs, including context and recommendations.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Current product understanding
- Insight into the target market
- Industry-standard design tools and applications
- Existing Brand Identity/Fonts/Visual Assets
- Input on choices, problems, or anything else the students might encounter
