Our challenges:

There are several tonnes of papers wasted in north America. At the same time the demand for paper bags is increasing. The kraft paper bags are not eco-friendly. Currently we collect clean newsprints, flyers from local libraries and flyer distributors (Nova Scotia & New Brunswick). Once it collected, we clean it without any chemicals or bleaching. After that we make paper bags and sell to small businesses. There are multiple challenges includes on handling logistics, supply chain management, essentials for small company. We don’t have any proper systems to streamline the whole process. We are looking for business solutions, suggestions from students on How to effectively collect the clean paper wastes and turn into a profitable and sustainable businesses.

We want students to study any similar business models and suggest us solutions, it can be improvised solution, brand new solutions.

This project will be a great learning for students because this project involves with real time research, analysis and development. The students get a great hands-on from this project.
