PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET:

This project will lay the groundwork for operations, accounting, marketing and IT of Bullwhip Logistics micro-services. This concept offering is brand new, and will include operating a proof of concept at our current facility. While the team learns how the proof of concept operates and improves, the team will conduct market research, marketing efforts, and IT work to integrate and develop business and operations plans to expand the operation on a large scale.

• Financial analysis ( cash flow & costs) of current business and at scale
• Google trends / keywords research and analysis
• Gain knowledge & insight into the shipping & logistics industry

• Students who have interests / experience in business, marketing, and technology would be well suited to this project. People interested in learning more about the transportation and logistics industry are more likely to be interested in this project. Marketing / market research will be a big component of this project, so being outgoing and personable will be beneficial

FINAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES/LIVRABLES DU PROJET:

• Prepare a market research report for the business model
• Give insight on marketing & reaching customers based on market research findings etc.
• Present financial projection / cash flow analysis for current business and at scale

• English is the primary language spoken and used at our business. We do have some French speaking customers so being bilingual is an asset. Philip is fluent in french.

All projects will begin on a first come, first serve basis, which cohorts are you + your team ABLE to participate in? Please list all that apply. Please note that flexibility will be key in ensuring we are able to secure a student team for your project.

• January cohort - January 3 to February 18 / Cohorte de janvier - 3 janvier au 18 février
• February cohort - February 7 to March 25 / Cohorte de février - 7 février au 25 mars

• We would be able to participate in the January and/or February cohorts. We would also be able to accommodate a student in the December cohort although we are already into the beginning of that section.

• We would be happy to receive any amount of commitment, however for the scope of the project 70hrs would be preferred.
