Details

This project will involve examination of pharmacological compounds on the behaviorual response of zebrafish. Compounds will be applied both acutely and repeatedly to examine a potential differential impact. Students will be involved in the experiment, data collection, analysis, and the drafting of the results.

Deliverables

Students will conduct research with zebrafish (Danio rerio) and examine their locomotion and preference for specific locations in a testing arena. Students will quantify data with the motion tracking software program and analyze data on statistical software. Students will generate a report of the findings.

Mentorship

I will support students over the duration of the project with a place to complete the experiments (lab) and a location to analyze the data and access to the necessary programs. I will be available for the duration of the project via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
