Statistics Decoded seeks to help make the next level of calculator that not only does the math but writes the report draft for you -- not just saving time but improving data accuracy and ability to make quick, comparative analyses between different data sets using the same analytics.

We need help working on the marketing verbiage to help us market and get funding for (either/both) getting users to use the mini-beta version of the product we hope to have ready in a couple months, and/or to help fundraise to help us further build out the project by helping me get the full proposal together for government grant submissions for further r&d.

We’re looking for a student to help us source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement in using the mini-mvp and/or in partnering/funding/etc.

This includes assisting with marketing the website or brainstorming and implementing other online funding options for greater levels of support, and/or help with the grant writing/application processes.

Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following:

• Content Calendar Curation: create and deploy timely social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site(s)
• Social Media Management: overseeing different channels that we own and keeping them up-to-date
• Content Development
• SEO
• Other marketing-related tasks and fund-raising/get sales online related tasks.
• Help improve pitch deck and other marketing materials related to the pitch deck and getting private or government funding
• We are also interested in finding nonprofit partners so we can get paid by nonprofits or universities to offer these services to their constituents, such as to help high school students understand why statistics is cool and meaningful and to be critical thinkers, or to help organizations funding research to use our tools to have the data regarding products (such as covid tests or vaccines) analyzed through us, independently, to improve true "apples to apples" comparisons and/or to reduce risk of bias or unethical massaging of data to get results needed to get funding.

Student will need to sign company internship agreement including NDA and IP release.

I provide a high level of supervision and mentorship via text and live calls. Interns often work with me during "live" work sessions which are like live office hours where I am available to share screens, give guidance, troubleshoot, review/etc.

I also provide career mentoring and strategic career planning guidance and support. For example, I helped one student who had changed his major but really didn't know what to do with the new one, think through what his skills and interests were, how they would align with a job, review jobs and their criteria, and discuss the specific work he could do on my internship/project and how he could use that towards demonstrating what the jobs he was looking at trying to get hired for, would want to see.
