Details

Power WearHouse, a leader in fitness and therapeutic wearables, seeks to expand its market presence internationally. The goal of this project is to conduct a comprehensive analysis to identify and prioritize potential countries for market expansion. Students will apply their knowledge of international business, market research, and data analysis to evaluate various factors such as market size, growth potential, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and cultural considerations. The project will involve collecting and analyzing data to determine the most promising markets for Power WearHouse's products. By the end of the project, students will provide a strategic recommendation on which countries offer the best opportunities for expansion, aligning with the company's growth objectives. The company currently has three research partnerships, with UHN Kite medical devices lab, Holland-Bloorview rehabilitation Hospital for children and East Shore Maryland University.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a detailed report and a presentation. The report should outline the methodology used, data collected, and analysis performed, leading to a prioritized list of countries for expansion. The presentation will summarize key findings and strategic recommendations, providing Power WearHouse with actionable insights for their international growth strategy. Both deliverables should be clear, concise, and supported by data-driven evidence. Learners will be dealing primarily with the Founder and CEO, Shelagh Stoneham. Pauline Couture is managing the interface with RIIPEN on her behalf.
