Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Our team is looking to take our social media presence to the next level in order to drive traffic to our pages. To do this, we hope to improve our search engine optimization, and create an optimal schedule for our social media posts to be uploaded.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that teachers search for.
  • Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google for our relevant keywords.
  • Researching online teacher communities we can start interacting and partnering with.
  • Brainstorming effective ways to engage with teachers online.
  • Creating a list of teacher or education influencers on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

  • Compiled a list of the most relevant SEO keywords for us.
  • Created a list of online teacher communities and influencers across different websites and social media platforms.

About the company

We want to help teachers save time with their administrative work.

We provide teachers with a no-code web app they can use to automate their marking, student feedback and report card comments and share their workflows with colleagues.

We adapt our software to teachers' "analog" workflows but speed them up by allowing them to work a class at a time instead of a student at a time.

Our goals for the coming months will be centered around increasing brand awareness.
