With a 25 year history, SVI relies strongly on word of mouth to generate registrations. In certain circles, SVI is well-known, but there are many people who have never heard of it who are excellent candidates to participate.

SVI has historically sold out (120 participants for the Cortes Island version and 100 participants for the Vancouver version) though in recent years, registrations have dwindled. As the mission-driven movement has expanded, a number of competing conferences have popped up, drawing away from the SVI audience.

Our aim is to continue offering this powerful experience and to invite new audiences to discover SVI, without necessarily having met a person who has attended before.

Goals:

  • Increase brand awareness about Social Venture Institute
  • Identify creative and applicable ways to grow the SVI audience
  • Identify new market segments and opportunities
