We would like to work with students to design and develop a new web application for our Social Enterprise Startup - Carib.Farm.

- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Students should be prepared to:
- Support prototype production release in a Linux-based environment, so VPS skills are required.
- Software design and development skills, knowledge of frameworks and specifically knowledge of PHP and desirable Laravel.
- Develop application testing to minimize bugs.
- Develop new features according to schedule.
- Knowledge of database modelling, specifically MySQL.
- Working with JavaScript and some frameworks (Vue, React, Livewire) to improve the user experience.
- Find and fix bugs in the code when in production.
- Work collaboratively with other developers in the development of the application. Using GIT.
- Implement external services through API's.
- Monitoring the application to identify and propose improvements.
- Develop and maintain the roadmap.
WHAT SKILLS OR TECHNOLOGIES WILL HELP LEARNERS TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT?
- Proven skills demonstrated knowledge and working experience with web applications, programming languages and frameworks.
- Knowledge of the use and development of APIs
- Problem-solving, project management, communications
- Javascript, CSS and HTML skills
- Knowledge of relational databases and modelling
- Skills in VPS implementation
