Urban Leaf is looking for a part to full-time intern (20-40hrs/wk) to work on a Digital Marketing Project specifically related to Email Marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting hands-on marketing experience at a fast-growing eCommerce company.
The role will report directly to the CEO & Co-Founder (see video) and will involve the design, implementation and build-out of automated email marketing assets. We use an industry-leading CRM tool called Hubspot, which you will become very familiar with as a result of this project.
Specific tasks include:
- Customer Segmentation: How can we use website interaction data, demographics, and purchase history to segment our customer base, and use this segmentation as the basis for customizing our marketing message to them.
- Enrolment Triggers: What action or event should initiate an email automation response? Did the customer buy a specific product recently? Have they read all 10 of our microgreens blogs? What triggers should be used to initiate our email responses?
- Communication Design: Once the customer profile has been built, and we know what action they took, what do we do next? You will be responsible for designing the customer voyage at this point, and determining what content we send to them.
- Build and Optimize: You will be responsible for building out the email automations using Hubspot, as well as testing and optimizing various ideas.
This role is well suited to individuals who have an interest in eCommerce, startups, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, food, CPG, plants, gardening and sustainability.
We look forward to hearing from you!
