We are a Montreal-based community-building & co-living startup that facilitates and deepens in-person safe connections for families feeling burned out and alone, where they can give and receive reliable family-like support, fostering a real sense of belonging. We had the good fortune and honour to work with Zeynep Aksu, Caitlin Fry and Julianne Bar as part of a Springboard experiential learning cohort in the UX/UI design of our digital platform. Simply put, they were exceptional. The team came in seamlessly amidst the whirlwind of our startup's pre-launch growing pains, and they demonstrated hard work, high principles, reliability and in the end, produced beautiful work. Also, as non-tech founders, we were grateful for their disarmingly very human manner and affable and easy to understand explanations. Here are the salient points we feel are worth indicating about our collaboration: • They understood our story and honoured our branding guide. • They had a real sense of detail • They were able to understand existing user testing and put it into practice. • They listened to our needs to get to market fast, giving us a first step, and then went above and beyond with longterm clear designs • They communicated well as a team and with us (in spite of the fact that they were obviously under great pressure. • Both professionally and personally, we had a great connection. • They also had an expressed belief in our mission, we feel, made them wonderful collaborators in effectively understanding our customer journey, our internal team culture and the passionate desire to be part of something doing good. Sorry I'm getting to this a little late, but I just wanted to say that the team we had received from Springboard was sensational. They were so talented, kind and an overall joy to work with. The deliverables were beautiful and we at Chuzu are overall extremely happy with how they turned out. Would definitely work with this team again should the opportunity arise in the future.

My experience with the UI/UX team assigned to my company blew my expectations. They were amongst some of the smartest, analytically sharp and responsive designers I have worked with. The quality of work matches some of the world class researches and designers I have had the pleasure of working with in my corporate career. The way the course is structured works very well too. Every week significant progress was being made and communicated which helped take the project in the direction that made the most sense rather than ending with a bunch of insights/designs that were either not actionable or feasible. I highly recommend Springboard and their quality of work being provided as a part of this project.
