After meeting with Julie Cheam, the University Alliances Director of International Strategic Accelerator for Woman, I found it impressive she was well versed in advancing women’s equality in the workplace. More importantly she provided clear expectations for the project and responded timely to my questions. When I asked how she joined iSAW, I immediately admired how her positivity and passion to help others was explained, which encouraged me to start researching and finding my own connections to promote women in the workplace. Overall, I appreciated her welcomeness and direct feedback throughout the project. I found new leadership strategies and it was a pleasure working with iSAW to help accelerate the progress of uplifting women in the workplace.
