What notable qualities or skills did the student demonstrate throughout the project?

John had a good attitude and was receptive to feedback.

How did the student engage with stakeholders during the project?

He engaged and communicated fine but unfortunately, did not produce the deliverables required. While he did do some of the work, he did not follow instructions when it came to the videos he created which was the main reason for his hire. Even the social media templates he did produce failed to be scheduled. Which was actually the point of hiring an intern prior to me being away.

Did the student effectively manage their time and meet project deadlines? If so, how? If not, what areas could they improve in?

Honestly, I told him the exact tasks and breakdown of what was required. I asked him to edit my corporate and media appearances and instead he took old videos and when I told him they were bad quality he said we could use them anyway. So that wasn't completed. His work needed lots of revisions that a professional would not have needed. He was tasked at creating a campaign and that was not completed either. He logged hours for one out of the few tasks that were required. And, he said he used up his hours so he refused to schedule the content leaving me to finish his work myself. He is a good kid and easy to work with but I am disappointed that most of the 60 hours was logged with "meetings and brand overview", social media posts not scheduled and done needing multiple edits for their completion, the videos were not aligned with repeated instructions and feedback and the work he did actually do from the project wasn't completed because it wasn't scheduled for posting when this was necessary because I am out of

Team feedback
John demonstrated a positive attitude throughout the internship and was receptive to feedback, which is an essential quality in any team member. However, it’s important to note that several key deliverables were not completed as required. While John worked on creating social media content, including reel creation and post edits, the core tasks—such as producing corporate videos, executing the back-to-school campaign, and scheduling the content—were not fulfilled. These were critical components of the project, and their absence significantly impacted the overall success of the internship. John’s understanding of the brand and participation in team meetings were strong, but ultimately, the primary goals of the internship were not met. With further experience and a focus on completing key tasks, John has the potential to be a valuable contributor in future roles.
