Project Examples

This Strategy and Integrated Decision Making course provides students with applied and experiential learning opportunities that build off foundational business skills that have already been acquired in the students four-years at Sauder Business School.

As this is a strategic decision making course, projects include an element of decision making, analysis of various alternative strategies, followed by a strategic recommendation and implementation plan. An example project might be framed as: "We are a company looking to increase our revenues and have several idea in mind for growth, what is the opportunity for each, rationale for choosing one over the other, and then how would we design and execute for success?"

Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to:

  • New market entry
  • New product offerings
  • Streamlining operations
  • Organizational structure
  • Business development
  • Strategic planning

Up to two independent teams will work on your project in parallel providing additional perspectives and strategies.
