What business, marketing, organizational, or management improvements can you implement to help you achieve your business goals? In this capstone project, students will help you develop a solution for a business-related opportunity you may be facing.

Beginning in January, teams of students will spend 13 weeks working with your organization to support you with achieving your key business objectives by developing a recommended plan of action.

Project Examples

Your business will provide the students with an area of focus and your goals for the project, and the students will include an in-depth needs analysis (based on the area of focus) and a detailed diagnose of opportunities for improvement. The students will also provide multi-perspective recommendations with practical considerations, an implementation plan, and a feasibility analysis. If requested, the final report will be complemented by a face-to-face presentation.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available to attend final presentations either in-person or virtual.

Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

One contact person to communicate with one team of students (4 students) assigned to the project. Typical engagement is a weekly meeting that can be virtual.

Access to information to complete the project (if requested, a non-disclosure assignment will be signed by students and faculty).

Review and feedback on the final report submission.
