Categories
Skills
writing research reflection find appropriate scientific publications data analysisBenefit from a dedicated Science student, graduating from CEGEP. The student will work in person or online at your convenience on a project in any environmental or heath science field (biology, chemistry, ecology, etc.)
All students come from a science background and have a wide variety of interests.
Learners
Deliverables will include a final written report and oral presentation. Ideally, the lab portion of the project would be done at the institution's lab, but can be done virtually if necessary.

Requirements
They all have an interest in environmental and health sciences, and they have the ability to find pertinent publications on any topic.
Past examples have included but are not limited to:
- Studying early stage oogenesis in Drosophila (Developmental Biology)
- Effects of detergent concentrations on integral membrane proteins (Chemistry)
- Ice promotion and demotion in the arctic (Climatology)
- Chronological aging in yeast (Cell Biology and Aging)
- Mixed-wood forest management effect on tent caterpillar populations (Ecology)
