Project Summary: 

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Point University to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.


Learners in this program/experience will assess your business using a variety of evaluation tools and analyses, looking at how your business is currently poised in the market, and make targeted recommendations as to how you could grow and gain an advantage in the market. We will analyze internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats, given your business industry.


What can our learners do for your company?


The skills that students will build center around evaluating the present market, identifying strategic opportunities, evaluating opportunities for execution, evaluating business costs Learners in groups of 3-4 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations and reports based on their in-depth research and analysis.

What would your company get at the end of the Experience?


Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization. 


Some final project deliverables might include: 


  1. A SWOT Analysis
  2. A detailed internal and external analysis of the company strengths/weaknesses and market opportunities/threats
  3. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and suggestions
  4. Depending on your needs, we may also be able to provide a 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations

Requirements

Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 

  • providing a detailed SWOT analysis
  • internal analysis - evaluating present strengths and potential weaknesses
  • external analysis - evaluating industry opportunities, given your specific marketplace, as well as threats you may need to guard against and be prepared to navigate
  • suggestions as to how to navigate the current business landscape given the results of our analyses
