Requirements

Based on existing floor plans and a brief list of requirements, 15 teams will work in studio under faculty supervision to develop and present research documents, interior conceptual drawings, plans, elevations, ceiling drawings, and computer models for your multi-use interior environment. You'll benefit from multiple perspectives, helping you re-envision the space.

Multi-use spaces are those that serve a mixed purpose or function. Projects can include, but are not limited to:

  • Retail/general store
  • Ground floor of an office or condo building
  • Hotel lobby
  • Community centre
  • Centre for innovation/incubator

As part of the final presentation and proposal, each of the teams can provide:

  • Research documentation
  • A plan, elevations, reflected ceiling plan and 3D models of the space
  • Materials, furniture and lighting ideas

Students will use Revit to create their designs, which can be translated into suitable files for your organization as needed.
