Our 4th year BA students are eager to assess your agricultural practices on a variety of aspects. Students can provide a business analysis, that takes business management practices, as well as a range of different financial analyses and recommendations into account. All aspects of the student work will be tailored to the business issue as you have identified it.
If interested, you'll be taking on a group of students for a multi-week project.
Learners
The exact nature and scope of the deliverables will depend on your company's need and wants. Students in general will provide:
- A detailed report, including analysis and recommendations
- An executive presentation, outlining the high level findings

Requirements
Students can work on a variety of topics. They have been trained to work on the following aspects of agribusiness:
- Firm expansion
- Corporate strategy and Stakeholder analysis
- Investment analysis
- International business
- Corporate social responsibility
- Break even analysis
- Sustainability
Previous examples of work completed include:
- SWOT analyses of palm-oil agribusinesses in Indonesia
- Porter's 5 forces for Canadian crop agribusinesses
- Quantitative and qualitative risk analysis of a farming business
- An investment analysis of a livestock enterprise
- Supply chain analysis of an ag-tech startup and a vertical farm
