This course is designed to cultivate expertise in operations management, emphasizing the quantitative and qualitative fundamentals of the subject to enhance decision-making processes. Students are rigorously trained in using project management and quality management tools to solve real-world problems.


Our learners come prepared with a robust understanding of operations management, including Leadership, Organizational Culture, Forecasting, Process Control, Quality, Inventory and Supply Chain Management. They are prepared to dissect complex issues and devise strategic solutions for data-driven decisions.

Requirements

Ideal projects for this experience should focus on data analysis for operations management using Microsoft Excel. Here are some examples:

  1. Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and redesign a company's supply chain to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  2. Inventory Management System Development: Develop a robust inventory management system that minimizes stockouts and overstock situations.
  3. Logistics and Resource Management Improvement: Assess and improve the logistics and resource management processes of a company. Create a detailed plan for optimizing resource allocation and reducing transportation costs.
  4. Quality Management Enhancement: Conduct a quality management audit and propose enhancements based on industry standards. Develop a project plan for implementing quality control measures and continuous improvement processes.
