Project Examples

Requirements

A group of 5-7 student consultants will assist a local small business by addressing a real-life business problem of the owner's choosing.  Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • How to reach a specific target market 
  • Increasing revenue for a product/service 
  • Identifying potential partnerships         
  • Identifying and cutting unnecessary costs
  • Identifying technology to adopt
  • Reducing employee turnover 

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

(Optional) Attend end of semester presentations in person.

Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Have 2-3 meetings with the student group over the course of the project (by Skype or in person).
