Deliverables

Phase 1 – Project Plan: Students will meet with organization representative(s) to devise the project scope, deliverables, and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project.

Phase 2 – Project Execution: Students will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.

Phase 3 - Outcome: All groups in the class will work on a single organization's project and the best deliverables are provided to you for your use and feedback. The final deliverables vary, based on the project selected and are agreed upon in the planning phase. It could be a report, live presentation, or project plan, depending on the scope of your organization's goals.

Project Examples

Starting in January, a full class of professional students in groups of 5 will spend 75 hours per team collectively working to advance a sales or marketing initiative of your choice.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Launching a rebranding strategy for your business.
  • Creating sample marketing collateral pieces.
  • Developing an inbound marketing strategy for your website.
  • Creating a sales prospecting strategy.
  • Marketing and distribution channels for new product.

In this program, experienced Sales and Marketing professionals are provided Canadian workplace and academic training to allow them to transition into a full time position in the Ontario Sales and Marketing sector. During this project, they are guided by industry leaders while receiving academic training from Humber College.
