Project Examples

Learners, individually or in groups of 3-5, will work with your company to identify your needs and provide entry-level writing and/or actionable recommendations based on their introductory-level research and analysis.

With clear instruction, support, and guidance from you, students in this first-semester college communications course can contribute generic skills in researching, organizing, reframing, analyzing, writing, and presenting information.

Areas of interest are healthcare and wellness.

Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • writing for social media, blogs, internal communications, short informal reports, and/or presentations
  • introductory-level research, analysis, decision-making and problem-solving

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Are you available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for both you and students?

Will you provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly check-ins to address learners’ questions and messages during the project?

What end deliverable (report, blog post, research, etc.) do you require of this experience?
