Project Examples

Starting in September, a senior level undergraduate student will approach your company as Public Relations Specialists and get to know your business, key messaging, and value proposition in order to understand how to best position your brand.

Based on the information gathered and other relevant research, the student-consultant will write professional press kit materials for your company that can be used by your organization for Media Relations or as Marketing Collateral. The student will collaborate with you on ways to positively showcase your company in the materials.

The Press Kit will include:

  • Company/Product Fact Sheet
  • Executive Bios
  • Company Background
  • Press Release
  • Media list
  • Media pitch

Materials will be developed with a brand voice appropriate for your organization and based on the information you provide and research done by the student.

This project is ideal for establishing professional media materials that can be used on a corporate website, for external media relations and with investors. In addition, students will develop a press release, media pitch and target media list based on an upcoming news, event, announcement.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide enough background or information for students to draft materials

Be available for periodic emails and calls from the students with questions/clarifications.
