Details

This course is heavily based on hands-on activities, providing students with practice implementing data visualization techniques and tools. The focus is on techniques and tools that can be used by individuals in your organization to gain insight into complex business problems. The techniques that will be used are data analysis in MS Excel, data preparation and visualization as well as dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.

  • Recognize and solve business problems that can be supported with BI & BA tools  
  • Develop models that aid in decision-making using Excel  
  • Get familiar with good practices for data visualization and dashboards  
  • Develop data visualization and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.

Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly drop-ins to address learners’ questions as well as periodic messages over the duration of the project.

Provide an opportunity for learners to present their work and receive feedback.

Provide relevant information and/or data as needed for the project.
