Project Examples

Starting this April, groups of 5 MBA student-consultants will spend 100 hours per team analyzing your organization's data to provide strategic and actionable insights for your success.

Based on the information you provide and the goals that you share, students will provide you with data-driven insights, recommendations, and a road map to overcome the issues of your choice.

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Providing insight into key marketing, operational, HR, or other elements of your business.
  • Identifying key target markets or new business development opportunities.
  • Identifying market trends.
  • Identifying trends and patterns in your sales cycle.
  • Identifying trends in demand to help with forecasting.
  • Analyzing data on customer satisfaction to highlight key areas for improvement.
  • Creating a road map of how your organization can use data analytics to achieve specified business objectives.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a quick phone call with the organizer to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience

Provide open-ended problems that prompt students to provide answers as well as formulate new questions.

Have a big-picture goal that merits the use of analytics (e.g., “determine the best layout of my webpage" is too small a project).

Be able to effectively communicate your business model and industry to MBA students from varying backgrounds.

Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the students in-person or remotely (approximately 4-6 hours over the duration of the project).

Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls throughout the project for questions / to give information.

Projects must consist of more than analyzing survey data.
