Deliverables

Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the internship. However, these deliverables must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the internship.

Project Examples

Students can complete any engineering projects that can be undertaken online for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.

Students are specifically looking for projects relating to mechanical engineering or anything relating to aeronautical engineering.

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.

A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the internship program to review the project scope.
