Overview
Learner goals and capabilities

Groups of student-consultants, specialized in data-driven decision-making, will help your organization by designing and implementing analytical research to support your decision-making.

Expected outcomes and deliverables
  • A 15-20 mins project presentation
  • An Excel workbook with their analysis and model
Project Examples

Undergraduate student consultants will work in teams to develop analytic models to support your decision-making in business operations over a course of one/two months.

Possible project examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Sales Analysis
  • Customer Service Analysis
  • Employee Performance Analysis
  • Market Demand Analysis
  • Demand Forecasting

In general, students will be able to work with the data to:

  • Identify trends and patterns
  • Summarize and extract useful information
  • Provide data-based decision support

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide data required for students to work with.

Be available for an online meeting with the student team to clearly establish specific project goals.

Be available for one or two consult meetings in the middle stage of the project.

Watch students' final presentation (virtually or in person) and provide feedback.
