Learner goals and capabilities

Students will work in teams of 3 or 4 on the analysis, design, and development of a prototype information system to meet a real-world organization’s needs or the development of a prototype mobile app.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

The major deliverables of the project are Project Description, Proposal, Requirements Specifications, Design Specifications, Prototype and Final Report, and final class presentation.

Project Examples

Students will work in teams of 3 or 4 to model and analyze your information requirements, conduct feasibility studies, carry out a build/buy analysis, propose alternative designs, provide recommendations, and build a prototype system.
