Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Our students conduct high-impact research that contributes to the understanding of basic business principles and their application to individuals in organizational and community settings.
Please note that our applicants range from second year, third year, and fourth year learners; therefore, internship opportunities should consider these different levels of expertise.
Students are available for 40-50 hours of placement from July 12 to September 10. Students will start looking for their internship in March 2021 and are required to have their internship plan finalized by Friday, June 18, 2021.
Learners
The deliverable will vary depending on the scope of the project. The student should complete a minimum of 40-50 hours with your organization.
Project Examples
Requirements
Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student a tangible goal.
