Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Thompson Rivers University registered in the Course to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. The Service-Learning Course at Thompson Rivers University is seeking Virtual proposals for several 10-week projects. Organizations present their real-world problems to solve and groups of students or individual students will select the projects to work on for the term of the experiential learning opportunity. Students are available up to 5 hours per week for the experience. Students are in a mixed program cohort. The class may be made up of the following degree areas: Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Computing Sciences, Bachelor of Science (Biology, Chemistry), Engineering and Bachelor of Natural Resource Sciences.
Spring/Summer 2024-TRU Students seeking short term projects
The Experience More initiative at Thompson Rivers University is seeking proposals for several 12-14 week projects from a variety of organizations that have project needs in the fields of digital marketing, finance, sustainability, public relations, and writing. Organizations need only to present their real-world problems to solve and groups of Undergraduate and Graduate Business Students students or individual students will select the projects to work on for the term of the experiential learning opportunity.Bring on one more students from Thompson Rivers University enrolled in the Experience More initiative to work with you in a project-based experience. Students are available for a maximum of 50 hours (over the duration of the course) for the project.
Experience More Students Available for Virtual Projects
The Experience More Initiative at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) is seeking virtual proposals for several multi-week projects from a variety of organizations. Students in the Experience More Initiative are seeking real-world projects to work on while attending TRU. Organizations need only to present their real-world problems to solve and groups of students or individual students. Students will select the projects to work on from January 2022 to April 2022 to gain an experiential learning opportunity related to their field of study.Bring teams of one or two students from Thompson Rivers University to work with you on a project-based experience. Students are available up to 5 hours per week for the experience from January 2022 to April, 2022 Students are in a mixed program cohort from a variety of TRU's academic programs
